Giving a lecture for over 400 people before an Opera Philadelphia performance at the Academy of Music.

Over  65,000 people have attended Mike's inspiring and engaging lectures which have been offered in-person and via online platforms like Zoom, YouTube, and streaming events. With the goal of making opera come alive, attendees discover themselves in each work through a conversational presentation that delves into contextual, musical, and thematic elements. Repeat clients have included The Philadelphia Orchestra, The Metropolitan Opera Guild, Cincinnati Opera, The Curtis Institute of Music, Opera Philadelphia, and the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, among others.
